Oji, God needed a pianist so he chose the best one. It was a shock to hear of your passing, as a believer God knows best. Having the pleasure of being a close friend is something that I will hold to my heart.

When we weren't co-writing songs, we were watching movies, laughing and eating loads of munchies. I think about Oji and so many things come to mind. He was private, direct, and very funny. I loved his sardonic humor. After 17 years of friendship, I will miss Oji immensely.

Oji was my very close friend and we felt like family. We wrote music together and talked about God. Oji was my roomate last year and I will never forget those times. He was proud of my every endeavor and made me feel as though I could take on the world. I miss him so much. I am a better person for knowing him. I had the privelage of knowing an angel. I will remember him playing piano for me when I needed comfort and laughter--I will remember our big night out in the limo with all my "Girls" and Oji. I will cherish all the photos. I will appreciate all the beautiful music he and I created that the world never had a chance to hear. I will continue to multi-task and run track--sing/songwrite--and be Oji's "Mariah" look a like. I will treasure the gifts that he gave me and talk to him when I pray at night. Oji--you were my dear friend and I think I knew you were gone even though I was in Greece at the time. God must have needed another producer for His choir and so now you are resting with Him. When I marry Robert, I will honor you by playing your favorite song that we wrote together at our wedding. Robert is the "one" just like you said and I thank you for your support and advice.

You will be there in spirit and always in my memory and heart.

I will always love you my brother--Anne Marie:-) "Beverly Hills Cop"

Oji: A complex person not easily understood whose artistic depth was much more than this industry could accept. You played the game good while garnering much more love and respect then you could have ever imagined. I will miss you little brother. God Bless You and Keep You.

OJI was a true friend. We watched movies, told jokes, ate lots of popcorn, and wrote songs. I will miss him always.

I was saddened to learn of Oji's death. He was a terrific person, a complex thinker, who was also quite thoughtful. In fact, the last time we spoke, he really encouraged me about taking the bar and relocating to NY. I feel better for having known him in this lifetime. Oji lived next door to my family for a number of years and i had grown accustomed to spending at least one of the big holidays with him each year. His playful spirit will be dearly missed.

My thoughts and prayers are with his family.

I'm deeply saddened to hear of Oji's passing. He was indeed a talent. The song that I co-wrote with Oji is actually the public's favorite of my whole project. Pure talent... I will miss you Oji. God bless his family.

May God continue to comfort you during this time. My prayer is for all the family and friends of Oji to know that God is in control. We may not understand "why" this happened but God knows. I am a vocalist and Oji gave me a lot of work in the past 10 years!! I appreciate all that he did for me and I'm gonna miss him!
