Rev. Oliver Louis Brown II

BROWN II, Rev. Oliver Louis Oliver Louis Brown II was the first of three children born to Oliver Louis Brown Sr., and Dorothy Joyce Brown in San Antonio, Texas on December 11, 1941. He was preceded in death by his father, Oliver Louis Brown Sr. Reverend Brown is an Alumni of Oakland Technical High School, Prairie View A&M University and the Interdenominational Theological Center. He was ordained as a Minister in 1961. He served as the Pastor of congregations in Chicago, New Jersey and California. He is the founding Pastor of First African Presbyterian Church in America, Los Angeles, California. He leaves to cherish is memory six children: Ashaki, Oliver, Olu, Erick, Derrick and Olivia Brown. There will be a private service for the members of Rev. Brown's congregation on Thursday, September 21, 2006 at First African Presbyterian Church in America, 6825 Crenshaw Boulevard, Los Angeles, 90043 at 6:30 p.m. The public funeral service will be held at Trinity Baptist Church, 2040 W. Jefferson Boulevard, Los Angeles 90018 on Friday, September 22, 2006. The Rev. Alvin Tunstill is the Senior Pastor. The services will begin at 11:00 a.m.
