Patrick Thomas Santos

July 15, 1982 - February 28, 2023 It is with a heavy heart that we share, attorney Patrick Thomas Santos passed away on February 28th, 2023.
Patrick was diagnosed with ALS at the tender age of 39, and in 10 arduous months he lost his life.
Patrick was a proud, loving father to his 3 year-old son James Cyrus Santos. He leaves behind his wife Niki, who adored him beyond words.
Born in Long Island, NY, Patrick was the son of Alfred and Nancilee. He was a brother, and "Uncle Pat".
Patrick was an accomplished Attorney, a zealous advocate, who dedicated his life to serving others. He often represented indigent clients pro-bono, because he was generous, kind, and believed in Justice.
Patrick graduated undergrad from USC, and subsequently, from Law School in 2009 with high honors (magna cum laude). He was the Senior Editor of Law Review.
Patrick was a brilliant legal mind, with numerous accolades, including two California Supreme Court Opinions that were published, and three Daily Journal articles.
Prior to his outstanding law career, he was a successful fashion model, appearing in ads for brands such as, Dolce & Gabbana, Abercrombie, and GAP.
Patrick had a black belt in BJJ, and was a powerful fighter. This gave him the ability to bravely fight ALS.
Even after his terminal diagnosis in April, he continued to proudly work from home, keeping his illness private from other attorneys. When he lost his ability to type, he used dictation to work. His work ethic and dedication were unparalleled.
Patrick was kind-hearted, smart, positive, full of effortless humor, and most importantly, an honest man.
He will be deeply missed by all those who knew him and loved him.
