Paul N. Crane

1937 - 2021

December 5, 1937 - October 19, 2021 Loving husband, father, grandfather and trusted friend and colleague, Paul Crane passed away at home on October 19, 2021 with family at his side. Paul was born in Chicago, IL and moved with his family to Los Angeles in 1947. He attended Fairfax High School, UCLA, and Harvard Law School. Upon graduation from UCLA, he married his high school sweetheart, Gloria Edelstein, a marriage of over 62 years. After graduating Harvard Law School in 1962, he served as a law clerk for California Supreme Court Justice Matthew Tobriner. Paul practiced law in the Los Angeles area for close to 60 years and served on several committees of the Los Angeles County Bar Association and the State Bar of California. Paul enjoyed the arts, music, and theater but his greatest pleasure was traveling with Gloria, his children, and especially his grandchildren throughout the US and to over 30 countries. Their travels were the source of many wonderful memories and family stories.Paul will be remembered for his love, generosity and subtle humor by his wife Gloria, sons Philip (Becky) and Larry (Cindy), grandchildren Danielle, Joshua, Mitchell, Noah and Evan, his sister Barbara Crane, and his extended family and many friends.
