Pauline Dolce Obituary

Dolce, Pauline Ciara
July 27, 1920 - February 13, 2011
Devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, dedicated public servant, and former City Clerk of Culver City for 16 years, Mrs. Dolce, died peacefully in her sleep. She served the City for nearly thirty years, during which time she received numerous honors and awards. She was extremely active in charitable and social organizations, and a well-loved and respected figure in Culver City. Married for over 40 years, she was preceded in death by her husband, Francis Julian Dolce. She is survived by: Son Pat and his wife, Dede, of Culver City, Son Frank and his wife, Karen of Culver City, Grandchildren: Kim Gill and husband, Mike, of Palm Desert, Dina of Culver City, Heidi of Palm Desert, Jill and her wife, Karen, of El Dorado Hills, Frank and his wife, Amy, of Salt Lake City, and Darin and his girlfriend, Rosa, of Salt Lake City. Great Grandchildren: Tyler, of Palm Desert, Kevin and Megan of El Dorado Hills, Frankie, Alexandra, and Anthony of Salt Lake City, and Isabella of Salt Lake City. Memorial viewing and Catholic Mass to be held on Tuesday, February 22, 2011 at St. Augustine's Church in Culver City at 9:00. Internment at Holy Cross Cemetery to follow.

I will always remember Pauline as a woman of strong character and determination guided by a kind heart. She led by example and was generous to so many in the community - myself included. Pauline truly lived the life of a distinguished gentlewoman. My sympathy to the entire family - Pauline was a beautiful woman.
