I first heard your father's work (Lunar Sea) at 3:00 AM while returning home from an emergency call in the dead of a Canadian winter in 1979-- and have been a fan ever since.
Music commands a strong influence in one's life. It evokes memories and emotions from the past, and sinks tendrils into our present. Music becomes a part of our being. Losing your father is like losing a part of my past, and like missing part of an unattained future.
He will be sorely missed by all those who know and love his work.
