Dear Aunt Elaine,
Please accept my deepest condolences on Uncle Ray's passing. The two visits that we had together--your visit to our former home in Maryland and our visit to your home in California--will always remain special to Janice and me. After meeting Uncle Ray and getting to know him, I can see why Janice and her sisters speak of him in the highest regard. His hospitality, caring, and generosity was genuine and very much appreciated by those that he touched. May your family and friends provide you comfort and peace as you remember Uncle Ray.

No words can lessen the pain of losing Uncle Ray. But please take comfort in knowing that he was loved by many and will be sorely missed.
