Richard K. "Dick" Westfall

Westfall, Richard "Dick" K. (79) passed away on Sunday, September 29, 2002 in Sandpoint, Idaho. Private family services will be held at a later date.
Dick was born on December 18, 1922 in Detroit, Michigan the son of William and Grace (Douglas) Westfall. He grew up and lived in Schenectady, N.Y. where he attended schools. He joined the military, serving in World War II with U.S. Army stationed in Europe. Dick married Jodeyn Norwich on July 3, 1949 in Newark, N.J. They lived in Washington D.C. for 4 years moving to West Covina, CA where he resided for 20 years. While living there he worked in the Personnel Department for the L.A. County Probation Department. He has spent 25 years following his retirement living in Palm Desert, CA. He moved to Sandpoint, Id in May 2002 to be close to his daughter. Dick enjoyed reading and playing golf. He is survived by wife of 53 years, Jodeyn Westfall, Sandpoint, Id., 2 children, Ellen and her husband Eddie Brown-Sandpoint, Id, John Westfall, Salem, Or. Dick was preceded in death by his parents. Arrangements are under the care of Coffelt Funeral Service, Sandpoint, Idaho.
