Riyoko Kinoshita Chikami

1914 - 2016

Riyoko Chikami passed on September 24, 2016 at the age of 102. Born January 20, 1914, to Eijiro and Chiju Kinoshita in Los Angeles, California. Her parents and sister, Hatsumo (predeceased), were born in Kumamoto, Japan. Married in 1939 to Jack Yoshio Chikami. They had five children, Tayeko, (predeceased), Janet Maloney (Mike), Ray Chikami (Vicki), Barbara Souto (Mark), and Karen Furuta (Sam). Also survived by 12 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, brother-in-law, Harry Yoshimura, niece, Yoe Okumura, and many other nieces and nephews.
