Rob Saslow Obituary
Rob grew up in Long Beach California, excelling in the PACE program at Long Beach Poly ('86), skated through UCLA, graduating with a degree in English Literature in 1991. He lived in Southern California for most of his life, but spent nine years in Shaker Heights, Ohio while working for Telarc.
Rob Saslow ran in the music business for 22 years. Starting with an internship at IRS records in the late 80s, Rob made a career working A&R for Sonic Atmospheres, Mesa Blue Moon, Atlantic Records, Telarc and Concord Music Group. In his mid-40s, Rob made a career transition and became a fiduciary (trustee, conservator, receiver) founding Golden State Fiduciary Solutions which operated in Los Angeles and Orange Counties and which he co-owned with fellow fiduciary, and childhood friend from Camp Komaroff, Stacey Haft.
Rob is survived by his wife of 28 years, novelist and nonfiction writer Linda Saslow (née Roberts), his adult daughters Simone and Silvie Saslow and his three sisters, Jacque Futoran, Lisa Saslow-Canfield and Nanette Saslow Andrews.

Rob was always supportive of the windsurfing group at Cabrillo Beach. He was also very helpful in giving pointers for those who were learning to wing foil.
He will be greatly missed.

Rob Saslow was a Wonderful PPF for my Mother and helped her through a very difficult time in her life. What a great help he was to her, and I am forever grateful as is she!! Our thoughts and prayers are with the Family

He truly was everyone's favorite person. I was a cousin-in-law and had the opportunity and pleasure to work with him in recent years. He was warm, wise and funny rock star of a man in all things.

Rob was a a thoughtful and generous man. I am glad I had the opportunity to cross paths with him during my tenure in the music industry. We stayed in touch for years afterwards via social media. I will miss him.
