Shelley is the dearest, kindest, most lovely person it has been my privilege to know, and I am grateful to have been her cousin. Although we lost contact for many years when her family moved west, we grew up together,confided in each other, and reconnected for the warmest relationship when we were (temporarily) residing in close proximity in 1984. From that time we never lost touch, and she has since been a pole star in my life. I already miss her terribly, and don't expect that to change.
