My parents, Helen & Norman Gross, were friends of Frank and Rose Salter back in the 1970s. My dad was with the City of Hope and later became an attorney, and Frank Salter was a great mentor of his. I remember visiting Rose & Frank with my parents at the Salters' Balboa Island home, it was a wonderful place and Rose & Frank were so lovely and wonderful to spend time with. My parents are gone now as are Frank and Rose, but their memories shall live on in their children. My condolences to the Salter children and grandchildren. You had a wonderful mother....may she rest in peace....

I miss you Grandma! You were an amazing woman and someone I have always looked up to. You lived the most amazing life and I only hope I can experience half of what you accomplished. You changed this world and we are all better because of it.
