Dear Dr.& Mrs. Meghnot and Dr. Geiderman and family.

You all are in my thoughts and prayers at this time of grief.

It was with my deepest sadness and sorrow to hear of Roya's passing.

I attended Huron Hign with Roya, Neda and Jilla- it was always nice to see Roya in the hallways with her beautiful smile, she also had a special sparkle in her eye's. Roya was indeed a beautiful , gifted soul. My last encounter with Roya was at a restaurant in Ann Arbor in the late 80's early 90's, and what I remember so clearly was here is an alumni from Huron who is now a "Star" in her own right, and she was just as friendly as she was at Huron, down to earth and genuine..Roya was a "one of a kind".Roya will be remembered fondly.

With my deepest sympathy.

My condolences to Roya's entire immediate and extended family. I met Roya at Huron High School. She allowed me to use her senior photo so that I could draw a pastel portrait for art class. After the assignment was finished, I presented her with my drawing, and she was truly sweet in her thanks. I later saw Roya at an Ann Arbor dinner theater in a production of "Pal Joey," and she was a charismatic, talented presence on the stage. When I went to see her backstage after the show, Roya received me with a great deal of graciousness and warmth. It was easy to have a crush on her, because she radiated such a glowing vitality and a genuine charm. It was because of this that I knew she would do well in life, and would have a loving husband and family. I hold Roya in my special memories.

Although I only knew Roya for a short time, she was a sweet and kind person. We worked together for a short time after high school, and we had a few mutual friends. I am sorry to hear of her passing, and my heart goes out to her family and friends. May God bless you all and support you in your time of sorrow.

Dear Meghnot and Geiderman Families,
I am shocked and saddened to learn of Roya's passing. I knew Roya and her sisters in High School and remember her for her kindness to everyone, her brilliant smile and her obvious talent as a singer and actress.

She was elegant even as a teenager, and I can only imagine the beauty, both inside and out, of the woman she grew into.

Please know my thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Dearest Geiderman Family,

My heart nearly broke upon hearing of Roya's passing. Though I had the pleasure of knowing her only a few short years, I was always impressed with her kindness, gentleness and the obvious joy and love she felt about her role of wife and mother. I have shed many tears and prayed sooo much for each of you - Joel, Camille, Ariana, Natalie and Bram - and will continue to keep you all in my prayers. G-d bless you and keep you during this tragically difficult time, and throughout the days and months ahead. What a dear, loving person she was.

Dear Joel, Natalie, Ari, Camille, Bram,

I cried upon receiving the news, and I am so saddened by this. It is comforting to know she passed peacefully. It is unfortunate I never got to see her the past year, even though we planned to meet for lunch several times.

She will always be in my thoughts. She was a kind, beautiful person, that I was fortunate and lucky to know and work for. You have both raised the most beautiful, smart, loving children, and I did tell her she is the best mother I have come across, since moving to America, in fact, probably ever. I hope the kids are taking this with strength, and I am sure they are being surrounded by all the wonderful people in your life.

To Dr. Joel Geiderman and family,
It is with profound sadness as I hear the disturbing news of the passing of your beloved Roya. She was such a happy person, enjoyed life to its fullest and cherished being a supportive loving wife and pride herself as a role model as a devoted and enthusiastic mother.
I personally had the honor and privilege to know Roya when formerly employed at Cedars-Sinai and receiving the grand opportunity to work with her on special projects for the Board of Governors. I recognized that her radiant smile, warmth, dedication and respectful character certainly made a significant impression on everyone she knew.
This is a great loss to us all, including you, her loving husband and family, as this is poignant reminder that nobody knows about what tomorrow may bring. Please try and take one precious day at a time and be gentle to yourself during your struggle with this very difficult departure. We deeply share your loss and sadness.
Fondly,
Alexis Stevens
