He was my childhood friend from 1980-1984 and we lived in Mumbai very close by. His mom would often visit us to watch Sunday movies. And I was introduced to western music by Sanjay. Used to always listen to deep purple snd brick in the wall on his LP record player. His house was always a mess with books lying around and he studied hard for his exams. We played in the rain and he used to love skate boarding. He left for the US in 1984 and I was quite sad to see him go. We met briefly again in 1993 when he visited India briefly. Really sad that he is no more. I had such a memorable time with him in my growing years from age 10 to 14. Rest in peace my good friend.

A fine neurologist, a gentle man. His passing is a great loss not only to family and friends, but to the community of patients and practitioners who relied on his expertise.
