Scott MCINTYRE Obituary

Scott Albert McIntyre, 79, passed away on September 29, 2025, after a long battle with cancer.
Scott was the beloved son of A. Curran McIntyre and Betty McIntyre and brother of Mike, Jeff and Kelly.
After attending Taft high school in Woodland Hills, California, Scott received a bachelor's degree in English literature from UCLA, as well as a law degree from UCLA School of Law.
After serving in the United States Air Force, Scott began practicing law in Sacramento for a short time, until settling in Palm Springs, California, where he practiced law for decades, specializing in commercial law. For much of the time Scott lived in Palm Springs, the entire family would often join Scott, having purchased a vacation home near his residence, and Scott regularly visited his family in Los Angeles.
Upon his retirement, Scott eventually moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma and then to the nearby quiet town of Collinsville, which he loved. Scott enjoyed reading, had an encyclopedic knowledge of many subjects, and was completely fluent in Spanish. He enjoyed traveling to Spanish-speaking countries, having visited Spain numerous times, traveled all through Mexico and Central America and visited many countries in South America. Scott also was a lifetime Dodger fan and loved to visit with his four nieces.
Scott is survived by his brother Jeff, who had the good fortune to have Scott as his best friend for over 70 years, his sister-in-laws, Allisyn and Jody, and by Jeff and Allisyn's daughters, Curran and Molly, and Kelly and Jody's daughters, Harper and Morgan. Scott was a great son, a fantastic brother and a wonderful uncle to the four nieces he loved dearly.
Scott lived his life on his own terms and will be greatly missed.
