May 24, 1924 - May 24, 2017 Stanley Norman Gottlieb was born in Los Angeles to ecstatic parents Bert and Esther Gottlieb. Stan attended John Burroughs, Fairfax High and UCLA. He served in WWII in the U.S. Army. He was an active supporter of Vista Del Mar, Big Brothers, Women Against Gun Violence, and Concern Foundation for Cancer Research. Stan had a warm smile and legions of wonderful friends. Adored husband of Jackie (Turbow). Proud father of Phranc nee Suzy (Lisa Freeman) and Gary (deceased). Beloved brother-in-law to Tubby and Sonny. Treasured grandfather of Lucie and Bea. Fair winds, Stanley. We will miss your gentle presence, kind heart and generous spirit. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm, Friday, May 26th at Hillside Memorial Park (800)576-1994 Donations to The Concern Foundation For Cancer Research, 11111 W. Olympic Blvd., Suite 214, Los Angeles, CA 90064 greatly appreciated.
