Stefan Dahlerbruch Obituary

Stefan Dahlerbruch, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away peacefully on April 27, 2025, at the age of 90.
Born in 1934 in Würzburg, Germany, Stefan came to the United States in 1938, escaping the Holocaust and always feeling deeply grateful for the life he was able to build here. His gratitude for the opportunities and freedoms he found in America inspired and motivated him throughout his life.
Stefan was the devoted husband of Adrienne, and the proud father of Tony (Michele), Craig (Laurie), and Erik (Merin). He cherished his role as a grandfather to Max, Katie, Danielle Reckon (Spencer), Kayla, Joshua (Gal), Jarred, and Holden, and recently celebrated the joy of becoming a great-grandfather to Zoey and Levi Reckon.
Deeply committed to his community and synagogue, Stefan dedicated himself to making a meaningful difference. Whether through leadership, volunteering, or quiet acts of kindness, he lived a life of purpose, generosity, and integrity. He had no regrets - only gratitude and pride for the life he lived and the legacy he leaves behind.
Donations in Stefan's memory may be made to the Special Children's League at sclsouthbay.org.
He will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered by all who had the honor of knowing him.
