Steven Lazarus Obituary

December 20, 1960 - August 18, 2024 Steven Lazarus passed away peacefully in his home, surrounded by his wife and sons. A lifelong Californian, he was a thoughtful and determined man who excelled in everything he did. He was an avid reader, talented chef, art enthusiast, poker player, pianist, loyal friend, and lover of the gin martini. He was a dedicated swimmer, swimming daily until two weeks before his passing. As an attorney, he was a pioneer and respected leader in Family Formation Law, in which he made a real difference and brought joy to many families for nearly three decades. He was deeply loved and will be greatly missed. He is survived by his wife, Tracy; sons Jordan, Adam, and Michael; mother Rosalie; and brother Barry (Jennifer). Funeral services will be held at 10 AM on Thursday, August 22nd at Hillside Memorial Park and Mortuary in Los Angeles. Donations can be made to the American Brain Tumor Association's GBM Research Fund.
