Steve was a good friend of mine when I worked as a secretary for OCSD. He was so very smart! I loved talking to him and he even bought me a shot glass when he was in training to learn at the FBI DNA lab. He was a unique individual and kind hearted. Prayers to his family and those who loved him.

Steve... you are such a kind, wise, handsome man (as the photo shows) and so incredibly talented and deep! You were such a good friend but I also love you like the older brother I never had! You were also a mentor to me and believe it or not a HERO to me because I personally witnessed you look into the mouth of the lion many times and go toe-to-toe with him! You had the mental toughness and guts of a whole lion den but also the kindness of a Jewish Saint (if there was such a thing)! I loved the fact that you were a groomsman in my wedding on Sept 19th, 1992... that made the day extra special. Until we meet again, my dear beloved friend!
