Terence Grayson Obituary
Our beloved husband, father, brother, grandfather, uncle and friend known as "Grayson" was called home on May 4, 2005 our heavenly Father thought it fit to call home a spirit filled tenor to sing in the ultimate choir in the sky. Grayson was born on February 21, 1951 in Salt Lake City, Utah where he grew up singing praises unto the Lord. He was a member of the two Gospel singing groups, New Generation or Gospel and Just A Portion. Music was his life long love. He is survived by his wife Leeann (California); sons Davion and Evan (California) Damon (SLC); daughter, PreShus (New Jersey); step sons Adam and Marc (California); step daughter Letta; sisters Sharon, Beverly (Denver), Janet (SLC); brothers John "Jackie," Ray (SLC), David (Denver) and a host of nieces, nephews and special friends! Funeral Services will be held on Friday, May 13, 2005 at 12:00 p.m. at the Calvary Baptist Church, 1090 South State Street, Salt Lake with the Reverend France A. Davis officiating. Viewing one hour prior to services with Interment on Monday, May 16, 2005 at 11 AM at Forest Lawn in Glendale, CA. In lieu of flower, contributions may be made to: Daivon & Evan Grayson Benefit Fund. Crippen Mortuary Directors 818/249-6131.

Dear Leann and family, John, Janet, Beverly, Sharon and the rest of the family,
I was shocked to hear of the passing of Terry. He was my friend and I will miss him dearly. God must have needed a tenor in heaven and called his name to come home. I will look forward to see him again in that by and by. God bless you all, and cherish the time we had to share with him. No man knows the day or the hour the Son of Man will call, just be ready to answer.

Terry i have`nt seen in along time. Now it looks like it will be awhile agian I`ll always remember you in couraging me to move on from my pass and to look towards the future the lord has in store for me and to stop letting people judge me because only god can do that.Thank you Terry.Thank you for always keeping it real with me. Dear Leeann, I have not had the pleasure of meeting you but I want to share with you my memories of Terry. I've known him since the late 70's. He has always been a special spirit. Full of love and a positive outlook on life. Always willing to give a hug and a smile. It seems God takes those home first. It's so hard to say goodbye. I will miss seeing your smiling face and hearing your BEAUTIFUL VOICE singing "Peace Be Still". I know that you are now singing in the "Heavenly Choir". I will remember fondly the good, bad and the "ugly" times we shared on the road when singing with Just A Portion (JAP) Our group was annointed. Goodbye my friend. I love you!
