Teri Berkoff Obituary
Born in Chicago, Illinois to Gladys and Julius Arbiter. Teri graduated from Beverly Hills High class of '59
Teri met the love of her life and soulmate, Danny, when she was just 17 years old. This led to a 62-year blissful marriage filled with devotion and love, serving as the central pillar to their immediate and extended family. Teri made it her priority in life to have very special and close relationships with her two daughters as well as her four grandchildren, who adored their "Nana" and looked to her always for her sage advice and wisdom.
Teri was a people person, always asking questions and genuinely interested in the many details. This unique characteristic led her to become a certified Paraprofessional Counselor at Stephen Wise Parenting Center for 15 years, reading to 1st grade children at Roscomare school for 10 years, and serving as a Cedars Sinai hospital volunteer, which gave her the most fulfillment.
Teri walked through life with a gracefulness that was unique to her. She had a passion for all things intellectual which included her love of reading, book club, Woman's Auxiliary group, Women of Wisdom, Movie group and talk radio. She had a wealth of knowledge, allowing her to converse on many subjects. She was spiritual to a degree that allowed her to live by a belief that "Life is a journey to our ultimate and final destination".
Teri is survived by her husband Dan (Danny) Berkoff, her daughters
Jill Kort and Marci Dulberg; grandchildren Alexa Kort, Erika Kort, Jacob Dulberg and Zachary Dulberg; son in-laws Lee Kort and Jeff Dulberg.

Teri was a beautiful soul, inside and out. I remember her first day as a volunteer with us at Cedars-Sinai. She had a goal of giving back and helping others. She followed through on her commitment. She provided so much love and support to patients and their loved ones. We are so grateful to have known Teri and to have her as a volunteer at the hospital. Sending love to the entire family.

I met Teri when I was 10 and she was 6. She was a beautiful human being both inside and outside throughout her whole life. I treasured our friendship through the many years. She was so very special! We have been connected through 3 generations, our mothers, Goldie and Esther, the two of us, and our daughters, Jill and Nancy. We were blessed, and she will be missed!
