June 13, 1931 - February 2, 2017 On Thursday, February 2, 2017, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Utalee (Lee) Minderhout passed away in her sleep after battling declining health for the last few years. Lee will be remembered for love of her family and her delight in the accomplishments of her grandchildren. She was an avid community volunteer and a founding member of Theatre Palisades, which awarded her the Leila T. Pierson award for exceptional service. When not volunteering she was a gourmet cook, effortless hostess and world traveler. Lee is survived by her devoted husband of 63 years, Bill Minderhout, her brother Duane Medley, her 3 children and their spouses Jill and Scott Baskin, Jeff and Marie Minderhout, Dirk and Karen Minderhout and their 10 grandchildren: Jake and Isabel Baskin, Tyler, Katie and Sadie Mac Burdick, Hannah and Karly Minderhout, Cory, Jessica, Aaron and Charles Minderhout, all of whom loved her dearly. A celebration of her life will be held in the family home on Sunday, February 19 at 3PM. Donations can be made in her name to Theatre Palisades, PO Box 881, Pacific Palisades, CA 90272
