Warren Appel

February 13, 1936 - October 17, 2016 Warren Appel passed away on October 17, 2016. He was born in Los Angeles, CA on February 13, 1936. Warren is survived by his sons Andrew Appel, Lance Toomin and Larry Toomin, grandsons Henry Appel, Michael Toomin and Ryan Toomin, and granddaughters Olivia Appel and Sacha Appel. He is also survived by his brother Donald Appel, whom Warren looked up to, and his wife of 48 years, Loretta Faber Appel. Loretta took care of him in their home for the last 10 years. Warren and Loretta were devoted to one another. He will be very much missed by her. Warren was a friend of everyone he met and was the kindest, most loving person. He had an inquisitive mind and the rare ability to make everyone feel they were special - friends, family and strangers alike. Funeral services were held on Friday, October 21st at Hillside Memorial Park at 6001 W. Centinela Ave., Los Angeles, CA 90045. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
