LAURINBURG — Andrew "Andy" Fulton Davis, 41, of Laurinburg, passed away on Friday, Sept. 15, 2017 at Morrison Manor after a courageous battle with cancer.
Andy was born on October 27, 1975 in Chesterfield, SC. He was a son of Brenda Jean Eddins Davis and the late Timothy Landon Davis, Sr. Andy was the commercial manager for Advance Auto Parts in Laurinburg. He enjoyed football, fishing, NASCAR, and drag racing. Most of all, Andy loved spending time with family and friends.
In addition to his father, Andy was preceded in death by a brother, Landon Davis and a sister, Clara Davis.
Andy is survived by his mother, Brenda Davis of Laurinburg; step-mother, LaDonna Davis of Aberdeen; a brother, Timothy Landon Davis, Jr. (Courtney) of Hamlet; a sister, Angela Chavis (Chuck) of Laurel Hill; nieces and nephews, Destiny Chavis (Andrew), Chuck Chavis II (Lindsey), Landon Davis, and Brooklynne Davis; Andy's best friends that he loved like brothers; Brian Caulder of Laurel Hill; Alan Smith of Laurinburg; Chris Skipper of Laurinburg; and Steve Locklear of Wagram; and a host of other extended family and friends.
A memorial service to celebrate Andy's life will be held on Thursday, Sept. 21 at 6 p.m. in the Richard Boles Funeral Service Chapel. A private interment will be held at a later date.
A time of visitation will take place on Thursday, Sept. 21 from 5 to 6 p.m. prior to the service at Richard Boles Funeral Service.
In lieu of flowers, the requests that memorial donations be made to Scotland Regional Hospice P.O. Box 1033 Laurinburg, NC 28353.
