Elsie Pelham Obituary
She was born on September 26, 1926 in Lawrenceville, Illinois to Garl and Myrtle (Ruby) Mieure. She married Wilbur Pelham on November 4, 1951. He preceded her in passing. Survivors include her son Michael P. Pelham (Lora J.); and granddaughter Hannah R. Pelham. She was preceded in passing by her parents; husband; brothers Hubert, Harold, Gerald, John, Eugene, Charles, Lee, Robert, Donald; sisters Helen, Ruby, and Lois.
Elsie was a graduate of Bridgeport High School.
She was employed as an office worker and housewife.
Elsie enjoyed traveling, farming activities, reading, cooking, baking, and crafts.
She was a member of the Union Chapel Church.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, December 6, 2025 at 12:00 p.m. at Lawrenceville City Cemetery in Lawrenceville, Illinois. Flinn and Maguire Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
