Alex Maese Obituary
Alex Maese, born May 14, 1929. Alex, whose career as a jockey spanned nearly 30 years, died early Thursday morning June 14th in Pasadena from complications of recent surgery. He was 83. Alex, is survived by Rosemarie, his wife of 52 years, five
children - Alex Jr., James, Suzanne and twins Christian and Carlton and their respective spouses Cindy and Kerry - nine grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Services are pending.

Alex always a fighter. I enjoyed our competition in Little League. Alex was a competitor with amazing twin sons.

Oh Rosemarie I am so saddened by you & your family's loss. I was just thinking of Alex a few weeks ago and how I would see him in a month or so at the backside racing office at DelMar! From all of us here at the Equine Hospital, our sincere condolences. Karen
