My deepest condolences to Mama Connie, Dad Bill, son Kyle, and daughter Mattie, and all the family and friends. For Brian: Your time with us was too short. Your life mattered. YOU were important and YOU made a difference in this world. We are better off having had you for this brief time. I thank Connie and Bill for allowing me to tend your beautiful yard, while you were in the hospital. Brian, I got to know you a little better thru your flowers in that yard. I look forward to feeling your presence with me the next time Im trimming and watering that yard - as I trust your spirit with be with me. RIP Officer Brian Collette. xo

We didn't know Brian, but we both knew his Dad, Bill, when we worked with him at LBPD. If Brian was anything like his Dad, we know he was an outstanding police officer and a fine young man. No doubt Brian was loved by many and will be truly missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with Bill and Connie, and your beautiful children. Rest in Peace, Brian.

Brian was the first kid I met when we moved to El Dorado when I was 5. We shared so many memories growing up. Bill and Connie, I'm so sorry I wasn't able to see Brian. I'm not on Facebook and didn't know he was sick until a few weeks ago. I can't believe he is gone. I remember Brian and I playing Bill two on one in hoops in your driveway like it was yesterday. I will always remember Brian as my Buddy growing up and an incredible guy. Love, George Voigt and the Voigt Family

I met Brian in 2003 and it didn't take long before this LBPD guy was dirt biking and hanging out in the desert with us LASD guys. Lost touch with him over the years but always figured we'd catch up some day. I'm at a loss for words. One of the nicest guys I've ever had the pleasure of calling a friend. I'll miss him even more.
