We lived on the same street but I left Lakewood to send myself to college so I didn´t know all of the amazing things he did.

We need more Dave Carvers in this world. While we were not privileged to be close friends, know how much he will be missed in our community.........

A great brother in law, he will be missed. Prayers for Rita and the family to overcome this loss as best they can. Additional words are very hard to come by at this time, emotions are too high.

I knew Dave through my Dad, Kent Heyl. These two where inseparable. The one thing that they truly loved and shared was music. I must have seen them perform as a kid countless times at the Queen Mary in Long Beach, CA. As a kid, and even to this day, these guys where rock stars. Especially Dave, he was always so confident, smooth and collective while singing. He carried this swag about him. Nothing too egotistical or braggadocio, but just smooth. Not to mention that Fedora he would always wear. I still want one of those to this day. Dave was just that though, someone you looked up to and wanted to meet. He set the example of how to be and treat people with kindness. Dave will truly be missed and loved by many. Here´s to you Carver, always missed, never ever forgotten.

Rita and kids, I am writing this with deep sadness. Dave was the best brother-in-law anyone could have had. When I think of him, I will always remember how much he made me laugh. I will miss him so much.
Love and prayers,
Francesca
