Doris Eno Obituary
October 4, 1918 - July 9, 2017
Doris Eno went Home on Sunday, July 9, 2017. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph E. Eno, Sr., and her sister Marjorie Rauen and brother, Bernard Belsheim. Doris is survived by her son, Joe (Kathleen), grandchildren, Sarah (Christopher), Erin (Jimmy), and Joe (Kelly), and great-grandchildren Grace, Luke, Audrey, Anna, and her unborn great-grandson due in late October.
Doris first lived in Pipestone, MN after her family emigrated from Valdres, Norway. She served as a Navy WAVE in WWII, During this time, she met a young Marine named Joe Eno Sr, fell in love with, and married him at St. Anthony's Church on July 22, 1944.
Mom was the ultimate homemaker, master baker, and cutthroat Scrabble competitor. In 1955, she and dad helped found St Joseph's Catholic Parish in Long Beach.
Her Requiem Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 am on Saturday, July 22, 2017. Reception will follow at the El Dorado Park Golf Course Social Events Plaza. Private inurnment will be held at Ft. Rosecrans National Cemetary, on the Pt. Loma Peninsula in San Diego, at a later date.

Doris I recently purchased a yellow haired rag doll from my local thrift shop in Lodi California. I noticed a tag on the dolls back named Doris Eno, me and my daughter looked up info about dolls name. Very happy & pleased to have this very unique doll, I was very drawn to it. Its so wonderful to know that you served in the waves, in WW2,my father John E.Favia was in WW2 as well. Thank you dear heart Doris for your service to our country and for making a one of a kind doll, I will forever charish her and I have named the doll Doris. God bless you.

My memories of your Mom - our Aunt Doris - are of a warm, loving wife and Mom with a great sense of humor, and a strong love and admiration for you and your Dad.
Although our East Coast/West Coast living kept us from being in her company as often as we might have liked, it was always a pleasure to be with her, and we always looked forward to seeing her. We'll miss her - and your Dad's - spirit, and will keep her in our hearts!
Hers was a life, well-lived....something to be proud of.
