Fred and I were close friends for so much of our youth, I can't really talk about those days without Fred coming up in the conversation. I lived with Fred in HB after high school for a couple of years and was able to surf with him often while we both went to school and pursued careers. Our friendship continued as we grew older and started our careers and familys. Birthday parties, summers with the wifes and kids at the swim park, we shared that great time in life when the kids are little and your whole life is still ahead of you. Fred and I lost touch with each other, not really sure why, but month's turned into years and I think it's been 15 years since I saw him last. I always assumed we'd run into each other or call, and catch up on how our lives have played out. Hearing the news of Fred's passing is hard for me to accept. I'm sorry Fred we never got the chance to talk. Farewell my friend.
My thoughts and prayers to all the family.

Although we didn't see much of each other the older we got, you were always considered a good friend of the family. My condolances to your family. You will be greatly missed!
