I was so sorry to hear of Gary's passing. His smile lit up Millikan High School-whether cheerleading or just walking down the hall-our class of '68 was the better because he was there.
My deepest sympathy,

Our thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of sorrow. May your fond memories bring you comfort. Gary inspired us so much as a Cheerleader, leading us all in happy times of fun and laughter.

Nancy Ludlam contacted me thru my blog re Gary, but didntt mention his paassing. I felt something sad might be haappened, so my huusband and I looked it up. We are so saddened. We knew Gary thru Flight Safety, Long Beach. What a great guy with great humor. I dug up a picture takeen about 5-6 yrs ago at a Quiet Bird function at Long Beach Airport. Me, Gary, Lindsay Gow and Hugh Gilbert are in it. That was the last I saw Gary. Glad I have the picture. Rest in peace brother.

I was shocked and saddened to hear of Gary's passing. Gary was a friend and fellow gymnast when we attended Millikan H.S. I always admired Gary's passion for all things aeronautical.

My deepest sympathies go out to the Keating Family.
Prior to the class reunion it had been a number of years since we had spoken.
I will always remember his warm smile and humor.
He will be leaving a number of fabulous memories for me from our high school days.
Sincerely,
Bob Aldoroty

It was a privilege to have Gary as a close and trusted friend. His keen sense of humor and warm personality was his calling card to all who knew him. When I think of the times we shared together, I fondly remember the ease with which he made people laugh; his contagious smile, charm and wit made everyone feel welcome in his presence.
I extend my sincere condolences to the family, and pray that Gary’s life will long be remembered for the many wonderful contributions he made to mankind. His friendship will be missed, but his memories have been etched in my mind and heart, for which I hold dear.

Very sorry to hear of Gary's passing. I am left with some very fond memories--particularly of a great smile. Our last meeting was at a previous high school reunion over a beer at Joe Jost's. The smile will linger--
