What a pleasure it was to have been part of the Ingle family back in 1962 when Grace-Lynne and John starred and/or directed plays at the Oxy Summer Theater. I used to babysit for Jessica, Jennifer, Melanie, and Carey. Grace-Lynne was so much fun to be with,..and so vibrant and full of life as she would give me intructions for the evening...and such a wonderful mother and adoring wife.....Truly she and John were an incredibly beautiful and talented, and loving couple. I now that all of you miss your wife, mother, gainy greatly....May wonderful memories or a wonderful person provide you with comfort and peace.
Your family blessed my life....and my husband, Dave and I enjoyed seeing the Oxy plays for many years. I always felt a sense of pride when either Grace-Lynn or John were part of the plays. As you say, Grace-Lynne is watching over us now..love and prayers, Marilynne Garrison Kennedy

I attended PJC with Grace-Lynn and she sang at our wedding in Aug 1950. I danced with the rec department in Pasadena and she was our accompanist. We didn't receive a Xmas card this year and I had hoped everything was alright, until my girlfriend sent me a notice from the magazine. My maiden name was Joan Wood. We are so sorry and want you to know how special she was. We had three boys, lost one flying a A4 Skyhawk in 1978. I am still teaching ballet/Tap in my own studio. You can catch me on my web www.joansstudioofdance.com admired her lovely family and accomplishments. We share such wonderful memories.

My heartfelt condolences to all your family. You do not know me, nor I you. Normally I don't read obituaries but for some reason Grace-Lynne's picture in the L.A. Times caught my eye. Probably her extraordinary beauty. So I read on and became captivated with her exquisite and lovely story... of an exemplary life lived to the fullest in every way! Her love of life and the gift of herself to this world is truly inspiring, all the way from her incredible talent, her joy, her love, right down to bare feet and teaching the grandchildren to boogie board. To my surprise, tears came ... in awe of this beautiful life so well lived. Thank you for sharing her. I'm so sorry for your loss. I know all who knew her were blessed by her presence ~ as am I in just reading about her. Thank you.
