Paul Yokota Obituary

Paul N. Yokota Paul N. Yokota (86) pas sed away on March 17, 2008. In his retirement, he was active in numerous community service activities. Predeceased by his grandson, Grant; and siblings, Sam Yokota, Jessie Matsuoka and Arthur Yokota; he is survived by his beloved wife, Miyo Yokota; children, Daniel and Stanley Yokota, Eileen (David) Sugimura, and Marilyn Yokota; grandchildren, Sean, Keith, and Jessica; sister, Eunice Kurisu; he is also survived by nieces, nephews and other relatives. Open casket viewing will be held from 9:30am to 10:45am with a funeral service following at 11am on Saturday, March 22 at First Presbyterian Church of Downey, 10544 Downey Ave., Downey. Dearest Family, Our deepest sympathy during this time of sorrow for all. Paul, Miyo and their family was a true part of our family and we will miss him dearly. Our love and prayers to the family, Kathy, Ken and Rachel.

I remember Mr. Yokota from when he served on the Old River School Board with my father, Robert Ryan.
Paul Yokota was a wonderful man.
My sympathies to the Yokota and Kurisu families... I am sorry for your loss...
