May God be with you all at this time of sorrow. Ben was a good man and I will always remember him with warm thoughts in my prayers. He took care of me when I worked for him in Silver City 29 years ago and will always have a special place in my heart. My sincere regards to his wife Anita, who he always spoke fondly of and his sons. May God be with you at this time. Ben will always be in my prayers.

For: Mr. Padilla and Family, we were so sorry to hear of your loss. The thoughts of many are with you at this time of sorrow. We remember like it was yesterday when Mr. Padilla would be waiting for us (Raymond, Johnny, Felix and Ramon) as we would drive down to Las Cruces from Camp Pendleton in Raymond’s Pontiac. At the time, we were all in the Marines, and Mr. Padilla being retired from the Army would always have good stories (mostly good advise) to tell us. With all favorable reminiscing, we must all remember Mr. Padilla as one of our fallen heroes. He was a true Veteran, very supportive, admirable and inspirational person to us all. Therefore, may all good loving memories bring everyone comfort. The loss of someone so close is difficult to bear, however we know Mr. Padilla will now be looking over us up from our Father’s heavenly kingdom.

Sincerely Felix Alvarez, Family and Friends
