Indeed a generous man with a humble spirit and extremely couteous. He was a dear friend to my son, Paul Allen Rainwater III, and the various times I was with him or visited with him, he was entirely and completely a gentlemen and a patriot. May the many good memories of him give his children comfort into the future and may he rest in peace. MarVenea Rainwater Geary, Oklahoma

Word can't express how much we will miss our sweet Uncle Charlie. The world would be a better place with more men like him. Healing from this loss will take a long time, but we all have Uncle Charlie's strength to help us through. Love to all that are hurting. Thanks to my family without whom I could not have made it. We have made him proud. XOXOXO-The 3 J's

Charlie, you've left a great void to fill in Optics and your going to be remember as long as I work here. Stopping by the MCC for a coffee and seeing what you were up to was always on the schedule. Rest in peace my friend.

We made a bet in high school who would live longer. I won, but does he even know he put up a great second place?
See ya Charlie in the great beyond@@

To Charlies children, I have known Charlie since we were in high school... he and my brother were friends and that is how I met him. He owned a vw bug and took me out to show me how to drive a standard. We remained friends throughout our adult years but had lost contact over the last few years. He was a great friend and I will miss seeing his wonderful smile! My condolences to both of you and to your entire family.
