Hilario Nava Obituary

Hilario V. Nava, 94, a resident of Silver City, NM entered eternal rest Saturday, October 25, 2014 at his residence surrounded by his family. He was born November 3, 1919 in Zachatecas, Mexico to Francisco and Maria DeJesus Valdez Nava. He is survived by three daughters, Elena Salas and husband Edward of El Paso, TX; Ruth Valdevia and husband Miquel of Borger, TX; Mary Lou Estrada and husband Mariano of Silver City; seven grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; close friends, Thomas Perez Jr. and Sr. He was preceded in death by his wife, Nona Nava ('74) and his parents. Visitation will be Wednesday, October 29 from 9-10am at Cedar Hills Church of the Cross 5550 Stern Dr. Las Cruces, NM with Funeral Service to begin at 10am with Pastor Caleb Perez officiating. Concluding service interment will follow at Restlawn Memorial Park 8700 Dyer El Paso, TX 79904. Pallbearers will be David, Arturo, Christina and Ramon Marquez, Dylan Salas and Daniel Martinez. Honorary pallbearers will be the rest of his family and friends. Arrangements are with Terrazas Funeral Chapels "Trusted care for the ones you love" ~ 575-537-0777.
