Lamonn Ureno Obituary
Those left to mourn her passing include her five children, Lisa Ureno Hicks, James Ureno (Cindy), Ben Bradford, Luci Moody Nease (Larry), and Lanee Lujan (Paul). Other survivors include fourteen grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, four nieces, and two nephews. Lamonn has gone to heaven to join her parents, sister, brothers, and grandchild. Visitation will begin at 9 a.m., Monday, August 30, 2010 in Baca's Chapel of Prayer 300 E. Boutz Road, where the Funeral Service is scheduled at 11 a.m. with Reverend Doug Cowan officiating. Interment will follow in Masonic Cemetery, 760 S. Compress Road, where she will be laid to rest.
Servicing as casket bearers will be Paul Lujan, Larry Nease, Kenneth Elkins, Quayde Bradford, Chris Frazier, and Mike Lord.

Mom it has been 3 weeks today since you left us, we were not ready for you to leave. I know they say time heals a broken heart but I don't think mine will ever mend. I miss you and love you so much Mom, till we meet again on the other side.............I loved you!

I feel heartbroken for the family of Lamonn. I remember her being a wonderful mother and a caring neighbor. I know that she misses all of you as much as you miss her.

Mother, As hard as it is for life to go on, it must, but please know that I think of you every single second that I breath. Life will never ever be the same without you, and I don't want it to be. Half of me is gone, the half that revolved around you. Although I miss you more than you know, I know that you miss me too. Pretend that I am in your pocket and talk to me often. Aunt Lamonn, our Smith family historian, who is going to carry on for you. You were one of a kind and made a huge difference in my life. I will miss knowing you were only a phone call away. My Dearest Mother, there are no words to express how I am feeling right now, even the word heartache does not describe it. You were not suppose to leave me yet but I know you had family that were waiting to be reunited with you at the gates of Heaven. I will love you forever and always and miss you deeply everyday. You were not only the best Mother and MeMe but you were our best friend too. There are many people who love you and miss you daily. You're the definition of a wonderful Grandma. You have been a part of my life from the day I was brought into this world. I have so many fond memories of you and my childhood, and through your words and wisdom you have created parts of who I am. I am forever grateful for that.
