Lorenzo Delgado Jr. Obituary
Lorenzo (Junior) was born on August 4, 1948 in Las Cruces to Lorenzo and Maria Delgado. He was in the first graduating class of Mayfield High School. After graduating from High School he spent many years working in Bakersfield California. He later moved back to Las Cruces where he spent many years working for the Las Cruces Public Schools. He retired and bought Indian Hills Trailer Park in Dona Ana where he dedicated the rest of his life taking care of the Trailer Park and serving the Lord by doing acts of charity.
He is survived by his Sisters Anita Frietze, Cecilia and husband Robert Uranga, Erlinda Martinez and Companion Mando, Vickie Delgado and Companion Michael and many Nieces and Nephews, Uncles and Aunts. Lorenzo was also survived by Noemi and her Grandchildren whom he also considered as his grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his parents Lorenzo (2008) and Maria C. Delgado (2006), brothers Ramon (2003) and Ernesto Delgado (1980).
Pallbearers are Johnny Bustamante, Joe Monsivaiz, Tony Hernandez, Richard Frietze, Lucas Verdugo, Michael Tellez, Mario Medrano and Javier Lopez. Serving as Honorary pallbearer will be Dario Cruz Medrano.
A visitation will be on Thursday May 19, 2016 from 6-7pm at Getz Funeral Home with a rosary to follow at 7pm. Funeral services will be 10am Friday May 20, 2016 at the Our Lady of Purification Parish in Dona Ana with Father Miguel Macaya officiating internment to follow at the Dona Ana Cemetery with reception immediately following at the Parish Hall.
