Mike and I were at Las Cruces High together. He was fun to be around with. We were always talking on our CB radios and having fun with others. This was our Social Media. I have tried many times looking for Mike and came across it on the internet. Mike I miss you every day in the past and I will miss everyday till we meet again. Craig wish I find you to chat with you.

It was with sadness that I read about Mike's passing. He was a valued colleague at NMSU when I was head of the journalism department, and his professional skills helped keep KRWG functioning smoothly. In 2006 he took it upon himself to convert my viny rockabilly LP into a CD, and I always thank him for that. It was no easy task. In later years, I often saw him at the Corbett Center post office, until the pandemic changed all of our schedules. I wish him perfect happiness as his journey continues. Frank Thayer

I worked with the Double M, Mike Myers (his radio persona) as a student assistant at KRWG radio and TV. His dad was the chief engineer at the time. I also remember him working at KOBE AM as well, where I worked briefly announcing the afternoon news with Jo Galvan and La Nelda Rolley. He had a great radio voice, deep and authoritative. He was also funny, kind and humble. He’s probably spinning records and announcing intros in the great beyond right now.
