Richard Gregory

Richard B. Gregory, 67, of Las Cruces, New Mexico entered eternal life on May 4, 2012. He was born on December 12, 1944 to parents Marion Bernard and Lilian Maguerita Gregory. He served his country honorably in the United States Air Force. He then moved to Portales, New Mexico in 1971, where he attended Eastern New Mexico University and met his wife Nancy. After receiving an M.B.A. at Eastern, Rich attend law school at the University of New Mexico. He went on to become a C.P.A and attorney. He practiced law for more than thirty years, and taught accounting at New Mexico State University. Rich served his community throughout his life through extensive involvement in many charitable organizations. He is survived by his wife Nancy Gregory, daughter Jaime Dawes, son Christopher Gregory, son-in-law Cameron Dawes, daughter- in-law Brandy Gregory, and grandchildren Damion, Anthony, Caiden, Evan, Gwenna, and Tristan. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on May 7, 2012 at University Presbyterian Church, 2010 E. Wisconsin Ave., Las Cruces, New Mexico.
