Rosalie was very special to me. I took piano lessons from the time I was 5 until high school. I never had the patience or the talent to play properly, but she taught me a love of music that I plan on sharing with my own family. She was a firecracker of a woman; her love of travel inspired me to do the same. She was a great mentor and friend and I will truly miss her.

I used to be a poll worker with Rosalie back in the late 80's/early 90's. I was much younger than her & the other workers & she always treated me as an equal. I looked forward to each election knowing I'd see her again. She will be missed.

Rosalie always treated me like her own son and it is hard to find the words that can describe this beautiful, bright person full of life and love. Anyone who knew her was better for it.

My deepest sympathy to the family. I remember Mrs. Rader as having a great personality and being a good friend. My mother Bernice Ramirez worked in Mesilla with her for a time, she helped her in times of stress, she invited us to pick fruit from her trees even bringing in bags for people to take home. She is in my memories always as really nice and happy person with the great old car.

Rosalie was a beautiful, sophisticated, and loving woman of many talents. She dedicated a great deal of time and energy to her beloved community of Mesilla and the church of San Albino. She has left a legacy not only in the bricks and mortar of the renovated Mesilla Plaza, but also in her neices, nephews and her music students. She will be greatly missed.
