Ryan Brown Obituary

On October 30, 2015, Ryan Wade Brown joined his Guardian Angel in Heaven. Ryan was born August 3, 1990, in Las Cruces, NM to Rhonda Brown. He was active in 4-H and enjoyed playing City League soccer and baseball. In 2001, Rhonda and Ryan married David Molsbee and moved to Monticello, NM. There Ryan learned to love the outdoors, hunting, breaking horses, gathering cows and being a cowboy. He was also active in 4-H, FFA and played baseball and basketball. He graduated from Hot Springs High School in May 2008 and enlisted in the Marines. He was stationed at Camp Lejuene, NC, and served in the Marine Special Operations Command (MARSOC) as a Basic Mechanic Engineer and was a MARCOR Combat Marksmanship Coach. Ryan received an Honorable Discharge with the rank of Corporal in April, 2013.

Ryan was a firm believer in the theory that blood does not make a family and had numerous "family members" that were added to his family. From an early age he tried to help others… Many was the time he would give his lunch money or bake sale money to other kids because he had some and they didn't. He was the light in many peoples lives and his passing has left a hole in many hearts.

Ryan was preceded in death by his Guardian Angel, Casey Wade Worrell, his cousin, Deanda Grooms and his grandmother, Benina Molsbee. He is survived by his parents and sister, Rhonda, David and Kimberly Molsbee of Monticello. His son, Casey Wade Augustus Brown, his daughter Rowan McIntyre and their mother, Genei McIntyre, of Jacksonville, NC. His son Skylar Hoschar and his mother, Carliann Lovin of Las Cruces. His grandparents, Larry and Charlotte Brown of Las Cruces. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, in- and out-laws and friends, too numerous to mention.

There will be a memorial service at the VFW on Bataan Blvd in Las Cruces on December 5, 2015, at 2:00 pm. Friends and family are invited to attend. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made to a Veterans organization of your choice.
