Zachary Vasquez Obituary
Zachary was born November 27, 1993 to Linda Diane King and Jesse M. Vasquez in Clinton, OK where he lived until moving to Las Cruces with his family. Zach was a student at Onate High School.
He is survived by his mother, Diane King and her companion, James Craig; his father, Jesse Vasquez and his wife, Kristy of Wagoner, Oklahoma; his brother Brandon D. King and sister Olivia J. Houston; his grandparents, Elizabeth King, Billy King and Beth Landau, of Las Cruces.
He is also survived by his extended family in Hobbs, NM, Robert, Robert Jr., Carrie and Samantha Houston; Terri and Daryl Henderson; many uncles, aunts and cousins in Oklahoma, New Mexico and Massachusetts.
He was preceded in death by his uncle, Jeffrey E. King; great grandparents, Austin and Vivian King, Edna (Jackie) Zarrella, Ernest Joseph Richard and Eunice J. Richard; uncle, John Abbracciamento and cousin, Mark Howard.
His gentle kindness, love of music, creativity, sense of humor, beautiful smile, dancing eyes and good work ethic placed him deep into everyone's heart. He will be missed and live on in our memories.
Visitation will be Friday, May 29, 2009 from 6-8 pm at LaPaz-Grahams Funeral Home. Funeral service will be at 10:00 am, Saturday also at La Paz – Graham's Funeral Home May 30, 2009, with burial at the Masonic cemetery.
Services have been entrusted to the care of La Paz – Graham's Funeral Home 555 West Amador Las Cruces, NM 88005

Dear Liz and family. im sorry for your guys lost..zach was one of my really good friends. i lives right in front of his grandparents house. I would also go to church with hiim. He was a very great guy and he will always be in my heart. I will always remember those good memories we had when he would come over after school and play at my house. Ms. King, I'd like to express my deepest sympathy to you and your family during this time of loss. I came to know Zach at the end of this past school year when he broke his hand. I was his School Nurse. His spirit was charming and his smile was contagious. I am glad I got the chance to know him.

I'm completely sorry for the family's loss. I'm Jesse Vargas one of his good friends and i lived just down the street from Zack's grandparents house. I always remembered the time he came over to my house to play video games and he would always let me borrow some games cause he was a good friend. I will always remember the good times me and Zack had and he will never be forgotten . My condolences to the whole family. Zack will always be in my heart and memories. He was an awesome person.

I was a past teacher of Zac, 7th grade to be exact. There are always students who stand out in your mind, some more than others. Zac is one of those students....he was a rebel with a cause! I still have one of his assignments that he made, for some reason I kept it these few years because I knew he put so much thought and effort into it. My thoughts and prayers go out to your family.
