Dorothy Musheno Obituary

Dorothy M. Musheno MANCHESTER, NH Dorothy M. Musheno, 89, passed away Monday, February 2, 2015. She was born in Nashua, N.H., on December 1, 1925, a daughter of Edward and Ruby (Brown) Weir. After graduation from Manchester West High school, she earned a Master Gardeners degree from Penn State University. Her career consisted of many years of employment with the new Boston Satellite Tracking Station, the Veteran's Administration, and the U.S. Postal Service, retiring as the Claims and Disability Supervisor. During retirement she earned her real estate license at age 75, and was employed by Century 21 Advantage, Goffstown, N.H. Dorothy enjoyed gardening, crafts, and travel. She is survived by a son, William Hamilton; three daughters, Linda Hamilton, Donna Cooley and husband, David, and Barbara Bohan; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; a sister, Mabel Brunetti of New York; and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 43 years, James M. Musheno in 2014; her former husband, William Hamilton; a brother, Paul Weir; and a step-son, Jay Musheno. A memorial service is planned for spring. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the New Hampshire Association for the Blind, 25 Walker St., Concord, NH, 03301. Dorothy was such a joy and I am so glad I got the chance to know her. Everyone loved her at Ridgewood and we will all miss her dearly! May she RIP in the loving arms of her wonderful husband Jim.

No matter that we didn't live in the same city most of our lives (once not in the same country) we were always close. Whenever we visited they were the best host and hostess. Will miss both of them. RIP, Mabel
