Elizabeth Minnich Obituary
Pine Grove - Elizabeth J. Minnich, 96, of Pine Grove, passed away on Tuesday, June 22, 2021, at Tremont Health & Rehabilitation Center. She was the wife of the late Ray A. Minnich.
Born in Oley on April 3, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Naomi Kalbach Yerger. Elizabeth was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church, Lickdale. She was a seamstress and worked for various garment factories. She enjoyed bowling, going clamming occasionally, and especially spending time with her family.
She is survived by her sons Arthur M. husband of Linda Minnich of Outwood, and Albert R. Minnich of Pine Grove; daughter Lucille R. Minnich of Annville; ten grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; nineteen great grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren; brothers Charles Yerger of Pine Grove, George Yerger of Marysville, and Arthur Yerger of Tampa, FL; and sisters Evelyn Morgan of York, Alma Schwalm, Vivian Bohr, & Ella Donmoyer, all of Lebanon, and Wanda Wenrich of Fredericksburg.
She was preceded in death by her son Stanley A. Minnich and her daughter Dorothy J. Kreitzer.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, June 25, 2021, at Trinity United Methodist Church, 98 Fisher Ave., Jonestown, PA 17038. A viewing will be held one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Zion's Evangelical Lutheran Cemetery, Jonestown.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to her church.
