Dear grandma. I want to thank you for all the love you showed me. And my family. I can remember when I was a little boy and you worked at boscoves, you would always get me coconut cream pie n we would sit and eat it together. You were such a good listener to all my problems, and would always say the right things to cheer me up. The last time we spoke we were talking about death because my pop pop just passed. I can remember telling you that you have many more years to live. God must have other plans. I will miss you forever n I think about you every day. I. Love you so much n you will be missed by many. I regret not bring my kids over as much to get to see you. But they love you too. I will see you in heaven. Love your grandson kyle n family.

I remember that my Mother was the kind of person who take all the kids to school at Cedar Crest, after we missed the bus, complain the whole way and the 10 kids stuffed into her Impala station wagon and they loved her for it. Keep caring Mom.

So sad this morning since it is the first time I came home from work in the morning (I work 3rd) and my Mother wasn't there to greet me before I went to bed. I would usually find her sitting on the sofa petting the cat and it was always nice to see before I went up to bed. It was also nice knowing someone was downstairs whether I was sleeping or not. I am sorrowful that we won't have those few private moments early in the morning like that. I will cherish the ones we had and remember those forever in my heart.

the bestest woman God could have ever made. This woman meant the world to me and was my hero. She taught me what it is to be a lady, and be a strong woman and a woman of strength. Always the first one to help me up when I was down and always had my back through everything. I feel horrible for all the crap I put you through, but I wouldn't have wanted it to be with any other person.. You showed me love, kindness, forgiveness and peace; how to become my own person, pushing me to go further and to expect more out of myself. In that you also showed me what to accept from others and what is and isn't acceptable. People truly loved you for you are and always will be a glorious person. You radiate the light of a billion suns, and are as beautiful as the stars in the sky. I feel honored to be your grand-daughter and your blood.. and if your time has come to go home, then I shall honor you the best way I know how, to live the shiz out of life and live it like it's my last day, do the coolest perms the world has ever seen (cause I never got to do yours) and be the woman I know you knew I could be... Rest easy sweet grandma for you have taught me well and I will go ahead and be glorious...Stephany

Grandma you are the finest example of a woman! You possess all the qualities one could ever want. I have learned so much from you and you will live on in my heart and memory. You touched so many people and there was never a bad word to be said about you. The only thing that keeps me going is knowing wherever you are, you are free of pain, can hear & see great, you are happy & healthy now and I know that I will see you again..love you forever and a day!

As we mature, we realize it becomes less important to have a ton of friends and more important to have a few genuine ones. My pet name for you was Mummy and you'll always be in my heart as my American Mummy.
I will always remember your humour and many of our hilarious phone calls, your kindness to everyone and your very giving nature. It has been a pleasure to have met you and for our wonderful friendship to have continued for so many years. It was meant to be.
To all Hilda's family, my condolences, from the other side of the world.
I love you Mummy!!

Grandma Beak,
The word "Grand" doesn't even come close to what type of mother you were, you were much more then that, through your love and self sacrifice you were the "Guiding Light" for the dark times in all our lives. We where all lucky to have you in our lives and now we must carry on, taking all that you shown and taught us and live our lives the best we can. Thank you for always being in our corner when we messed up, whether we were close or far way from you. I love you Grandma Beak and till we meet again in that Pleasant place in the sky.

My Deepest sympathies to the family. Hilda was a very special person. She had a lot of spunk and grit. Her life wasn't always the easiest, but she always rolled with the punches. My life has been made so much richer for having the opportunity of joining with her in Bible studies. I know without a doubt that she is the presence of her Lord Jesus. On the day of her passing, one of you asked me "What am I gonna do without her." This is what I said to her and this is what I say to you all....."Live your Life to Make her Proud" She was a very hard worker who put her family before herself....I think she set a fine example for all of you to live by. Work hard and love each other before yourself. God Bless you all.
