Jeannette was my new neighbor when we met on Convent Rd and later a classmate at Village Elementary School and Syosset High School. She was very studious and involved and a truly lovely girl.

I just happened upon this sad news, nearly 11 years after Jeanette's passing. My deep condolences to the entire family at the loss of your daughter, sister, auntie and friend. I met Jeanette at Connecticut College. She became an active member of the small InterVarsity Christian Fellowship student group on campus. (Sister Elaine was a year ahead of me at Mt. Holyoke College). I'm happy to hear that she continued to love Jesus after college and know she is now with the God she loved and served. Again, my condolences to the entire family at your loss.

Jeanette was a warm loving friend. My wife and I used to sit with her @ church. She was always jolly, and had that unique smile on her, always a happy person. We liked talking to her. Vicki and I were stunned to hear of her passing. She's now home with Jesus, and siging joyfully in Heaven. Our prayers, thoughts are with her family/friends.

I didn't get back to the area in time to come to the memorial or funeral, but I was greatly shocked to hear of Jeanette's passing. I just received an e-mail from her last week. Praise God she is in His hands and there is no more suffering or pain for her. I wish to express my deepest sympathy to her family and I want you to know that all is well with Jeanette. What a blessing and encourager to all of us she was and we will miss her tremendously.

We were so shocked to hear of Jeanette's sudden death. We've only met and known her for the last several years but it did not take long to know her! How we wish for a chance to say good-bye or to hear her bubbling laughter filled voice on the phone. She was never afraid to tell someone about her wonderful Jesus and we spent many hours on the phone discussing our various beliefs etc.
I deeply regret I was not able to attend the memorial service.
I would just like to give my sympathies to each one of the family. You are in our prayers. Jeanette spoke lovingly of you. We will miss your daughter and sister.

I was honored to be at Jeanette's memorial service this morning. She was a very special lady and my sister in Christ. Thank you for sharing your memories and stories about her. It was a blessing. You, her family, will be in my prayers. In Christ Jesus' love, Connie Algeo
