I worked with Kendra at Earthlink. Kendra was a very giving person, had a wonderful personality, and was a GREAT friend! She bought me dishes for my first apartment. Her and I just got back in touch a few months ago. It's hard to believe she is gone. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this time of sorrow. Please now that you have a guardian angel looking over you now.

Kendra was a friend of my mother. I met her in my early teens. Jenn and Kendra we're the best of friends, far surpassing your common bond between sisters, if you can imagine that. They always involved us in their family functions, and we will always consider them part of our family. I'm in college now, and because Kendra was a part of my life, I know I will be a good person some day. She helped me to learn to live my life, to love myself, and to cherish the people around me. Those are the most essential things in life. Kendra's beautiful spirit lives on through the lives of all the people she touched. It is an honor to be one of them.
With love. -Kayla Oliver

In My Pocket

I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.

My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.

They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.

Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.

But of all the treasures I have, it’s the memories of you that are the most precious.
