Madeline M. Mancuso

LEBANON Madeline M. Mancuso, 86, passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 14, 2012, at her residence, surrounded by her family. She was the wife of the late Anthony D. Mancuso. Born in Lebanon, on May 8, 1925, Madeline was the daughter of the late Peter and Mary (Sperga) Ceresini. Madeline was a loving mother and grandmother who cherished her family above all else. She was also an active and devoted member of Saint Mary's Church, where she selflessly volunteered for many church activities. She was also a member of the Parish Council of Catholic Women. She was retired from the Lebanon VA Medical Center. She closely followed local news, with a genuine interest in her community. She is survived by four sons, William P. of East Brunswick, N.J.; Robert J. of Harrisburg; Anthony D., husband of Kathy of Lebanon; and Thomas P. of Middletown. She is also survived by three granddaughters, Jennie K. of Huntington, W.Va.; Angela N. of Lebanon; and Christina M. of Harrisburg; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother, Paul G. Ceresini, husband of Audrey Ceresini, of Rockville, Md. Funeral Mass, Thursday at 10 a.m. at Saint Mary's Church, 2 N. 8th St., Lebanon, PA 17046. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery. Viewing hours Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Thompson Funeral Home, Inc., 126 S. 9th St., Lebanon, PA 17042 and Thursday from 9 to 10 a.m. at the church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Saint Mary's Church or the American Cancer Society, Box 1274, Lebanon, PA 17042.
