Ruth Gingrich Obituary
Annville
Ruth O Gingrich, 95, entered into peace on Sunday, July 2, 2016.
Ruth, daughter of Alta (Espenshade) and Eli Oberholtzer, was predeceased by her husband Paul M. Gingrich; and her sisters, Rhoda Hewitt and Betty Good; and brother, Leroy.
She is survived by her daughters, Carol Gabriel, Jane Harbaugh, Nancy Schmoyer (William); and son, Paul E. Gingrich; grandchildren, Michael, Holly and Nicole Gabriel and Dawn Chiafari, Tammy Feathers, Stephanie Wolfe, Harry Harbaugh, Ruth Carney, Rebecca Hopple, Elizabeth Cassel, Julie Ditmer and Lisa Bartow; 21 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and a sister, Lois Wagner.
During her lifetime, Ruth crocheted many afghans for Ronald McDonald House, was a member of the United Christian Church of Palmyra and recently resided at Countryside Christian Community. Ruth worked for the H.B. Reese Candy Company.
Funeral Services will be held Thursday, July 7, 2016 at 10 a.m. at Rothermel-Finkenbinder Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 25 W. Pine St., Palmyra. Burial will follow in Broadview Cemetery, Hershey. Family and friends are invited for viewing on Wednesday, July 6 from 4 to 6 p.m. at Countryside Christian Community, 200 Bellann Ct., Annville 17003 and on Thursday, July 7 at the funeral home from 9 a.m. until time of the service.
